Urban Hope is a ministry devoted to children. A ministry grounded in Christian love, it attempts to change the lives of children and youth, bringing them a sense of hope and a sense of future through spiritual and educational development and life management skills at our after school and summer programs. All Urban Hope programs are provided free to the participants.
Urban Hope will include special ministries devoted to music, art, drama, and helping children and teens gain confidence in their own abilities, to discover and develop talents of which they may not have been aware.
Urban Hope also has a Student Leader Program for high school students. The student leaders assist the instructors and help the children with their activities. The student leaders are paid for their time after they have been with the program for over 60 days, giving them a chance to earn money and learn responsibility.
